One day a finger was walking along
doing his own thing, but it was all wrong.
Where is the body? Where is the hand?
But the finger said, "I'm my own man."

He wanted fame and fortune and gold.
So unhappy and so alone,
He finally came back to his home.

As people in the body with Jesus as our head
We often wander off alone and often walk ahead,
But gently and so softly he calls us back to him
So we can be a body to minister again.
