A few hours after my housemate’s grandma’s zoom funeral service, I woke up and God gave me an impression to buy flowers to cheer up my housemate and honour her Nan. Our Heavenly Father just wanted to love on Tess, my housemate.

Well, I usually like to go to a particular shop that would give me free filtered coffee but then the Lord gave me another impression that the flowers were in my local Co-operative store. So I obeyed and headed that direction. As I was approaching that store entrance, I look into the store and my eyes caught the pink gebra flowers on display. The same bouquet also had deep red roses, white carnations, white daisy, white and pink chrysanthemums. The impression grew stronger that those were the flowers I was getting.

When I got home, Tess was so touched because she was amazed that the colours were her nan’s favourite shades. In fact, the flowers on the coffin were also the same colours. I would not have known this because Tess participated in her nan’s Zoom funeral Service at 3am London time because her family lives in Australia. I was fast asleep at that time. When I bought the flowers in the morning, we have not chatted about the funeral yet because Tess was still asleep.

Tess immediately shared pictures of these flowers from our Heavenly Father to her family. She was so touched that the Lord knows and has seen their pain of losing someone they loved in these times of lockdown. This incident convinced me even more deeply of God’s love truly expands across the earth. London and Melbourne are on different sides of planet earth. Only He could draw us together and be connected through HIM, in these strange times when people cannot gather normally to mourn for their loved ones.

Hope this will be an encouragement to others about our Heavenly Father’s love!
