Living Water

A couple of days ago the Lord gave me the word “manage” and one of the definitions is “Succeed in surviving or in attaining one’s aims, especially against heavy odds.”

As I was talking to Him about my time and what He was doing in my life at a recent (VOA – Voice of the Apostles) conference, the words He gave me are: open eyes, open heart, open mind, release, impart, receive, rejoice. And then He said, “My people are coming into a ‘new season.’Open heavens, greater warfare, greater provision, greater anointing. Buckle up; hold on; stay focused on Me; stay in My word. Greater responsibility; greater accountability. Babies are coming — spiritual babies.”

“New Assignment. Pray for mothers and fathers. Babies are coming. They will grow fast as they are fed and nurtured by mothers and fathers in the faith.”

Then He said, “Water for those who thirst; food for the hungry.” Then He gave me the words “watering hole.” A water hole from which animals regularly drink. All kinds of animals. Every form of life depends on water. Water comes in the form of dew on the ground, rain from the skies, and wells from which water comes from the ground. Jesus said, “I am the river of life. He who comes to me shall no longer be thirsty.” He is the “living water.”

This morning He blessed me with a local squirrel who was taking advantage of my “watering hole.” It is a water feature on my deck that I love listening to; but, for that squirrel – it is life!

It reminds me that we must manage our time, like that squirrel, to go to the water to survive or we will die of thirst.

Lord rescue President Donald J Trump and the United States from evil men: preserve him and this country from violent men, who devise evil things in their hearts; they continually stir up wars verbally attacking him with lies and unfounded accusations and seek help from other nations to destroy the destiny of the United States. They sharpen their tongues as a serpent; poison of a viper is under their lips. Keep President Donald J. Trump, Lord, from the hands of the wicked. Preserve him from violent men who have purposed to trip up his feet and bring the United States of America down. The proud have hidden a trap for him and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside. They have set snares for him.

Lord, you are his God. You have called him at this time in our history to fulfill the destiny you have for the United States. Give ear, Lord, to the voice of his supplications. Lord, the strength of his salvation, you have covered his head in the day of battle. Do not grant, Lord, the desires of the wicked; do not promote their evil device lest they be exalted.

As for the head of those who surround him, may the mischief of their lips cover them. May burning coals fall upon them; may they be cast into the fire, into deep pits from which they cannot rise, may a slanderer not be established in the earth; may evil hunt the violent man speedily. Let them repent, or cut them off.

Let President Donald Trump know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted (those who have been victims of riots and chaos in our cities and streets), and justice for the poor (those who have lost their loved ones, businesses, incomes, peace of mind). Surely the righteous will give thanks to your name. The upright will dwell in your presence.

Lord we invoke the covenants of the sure mercies of David over the United States of America. In your mercy to the destiny of this nation Cut off those who are trying to sidetrack it. Cut off those who are trying to turn it into a communist or socialistic country. Cut off those who are trying to abort our destiny. You are our God. We are your servants, Lord, visit them with your affliction, visit them and turn them if they will turn. If they won’t turn before they can destroy one more person, cut them off.

During our church intercessory prayer time this week, in my mind I heard the sound of drums and the words “War Drums.” We sent the body of Christ out to answer that call. [When I came home, I did a search on my phone for “Christian War Drums” and the following came up. When I listened, I realized that is what I had heard in my mind.]

War has been declared on the enemy. Rise up! Wake up! Answer that call. Our fight is not with flesh and blood, but against the world forces of wickedness. Say Yes Lord, use me; Yes Lord, teach me. He’s ready, are you?

This information came from a post on Instagram. I wanted to make sure that all of that information was posted as they posted it. It is an excellent reminder of God’s view of praise and worship and it’s effect on us personally.

It confirms the word the Lord gave me about “the enemy has no defense against praise.” It is the one weapon we can use that doesn’t require a great deal of knowledge, maturity in the Lord, denomination or doctrinal beliefs. It is up to exercise that weapon through our lips.

SURPRISE!

While I was sitting with the Lord yesterday, he gave me the word “Surprise.” I said, “What surprise do you have in store?” “How could the demonic be taken by surprise?” The Lord reminded me that the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary , they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Cor. 10:14)

In my mind, the Lord brought me up to the top of a mountain looking out on the world. “What do you see, was the thought that came to mind?” I see masks on people’s faces. Underneath the masks are people who are hurting but no one sees. Their expressions are covered, hidden from sight. They haven’t been touched by another human for weeks because of physical distancing. Fears everywhere. You could almost touch it. The media feeds on it to create fear which multiplies with every report. The airwaves are filled with lies and toxic words. Fear is the breeding ground for negative words and lies.

“I said Lord how can this happen?” l heard the words, through ignorance, misinformation, exaggeration, manipulation, lies, apathy, deception, confusion, dissemination, division, complaining, dissatisfaction , grumbling. Then the thought came, “40 days of praise!” We should be doing this anyway, but making a concentrated, dedicated effort.

Declare a scripture of praise and release it over yourself, over your family, church, neighborhood, city, state, country. Some people fast food TV etc. We are to fast negative words; break agreements with the negative words we have heard, agreed with and allowed to be repeated from our lips. We are to speak the words of praise for 40 days. Praise is the weapon that will “Surprise” the enemy and one he cannot defend against. Spread the word. Begin now.

Thy kingdom come . . .

“Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” [Matthew 6:10]

Early this morning before I woke up, I could actually hear voices in the house. They spoke softly and sounded both male and female. Although I couldn’t detect familiarity, I thought maybe they were my children. I also felt someone sleeping in my bed with their arm out and could hear them quietly snoring. I remember it was loud enough I tried to raise myself out of my bed to see who it was. I was trying to say, Kim is that you? No answer. Then I woke up praising the Lord and rejoicing in my new day and excited to see what God has planned.

In the natural, my immediate thought was my kids are in the house. What I have come to believe is that the presence of angels were in my house. I had a peace with what I was experiencing and felt no fear or discomfort or dis-ease. At the moment I have no explanation for who was present in the bed with me, other than I have had a similar experience in the past and knew that it was the presence of the Lord.

Before I went to sleep last night, I asked the Lord to teach me about His kingdom. I realized that I had limited my relationship with Him to what I can see and experience through the natural and what I am open to learning through revelation in the spirit. I don’t want to be deceived, but because of a super abundance of caution, I realized that I am missing out on what Holy Spirit wants to reveal to me.

The words above, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” keep resonating with me and so here we go: There is no sickness or death in heaven, there is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, faithfulness, abundance, provision, laughter, majesty, awe of God, majesty, beauty. If it is our responsibility to bring what is in the kingdom of heaven, just as Jesus did, then “How does that look?”

He healed all who came to Him; gave sight to the blind; hearing to the deaf; the lame walked; the lepers were cleansed; the mute spoke; the dead raised. He forgave sin, freedom to the oppressed, healed the brokenhearted and set the captives free!

If Jesus did these things and He gave us His authority to do the same, the question is “Are we?” and if so, “How are we doing it?” I would love to hear your answers.

We enter a relationship with the Lord through our eyes and ears as we read or listen to the Word of God, see and hear the world around us. We taste foods and smell flowers. We process that information through our normal thought pattern and filter it through the lens of our experience. We sense the presence of the Lord in our spirit, our thoughts or a knowing.

I realize by opening myself up to share, there will be those who may criticize or judge me. Be careful! You have permission to pray:

“Lord, I pray that the eyes of Beth’s heart may be enlightened, so that she may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power to Beth.” In Jesus name, AMEN! [Ephesians 1:18] You may also put your name or “my/me” in place of my name if you are seeking the same things.

“WHAT KIND OF VESSEL . . .” – Song

WHO WILL STAND UP WITH ME . . . ?

Several years ago I was watching a local news station in the San Francisco Bay Area. They were reporting about a dog that had been given to a neighbor by a family that was moving away and were unable to take the dog with them. It was reported by a witness, that the man later tied the dog to a tree, wrapped duct tape around its’ mouth and let his other dogs loose on this dog. It had no way to defend itself. Authorities were called, but when they arrived, the dog had to be euthanized because the injuries were so horrible and the dog was in so much pain.

That story broke my heart as I love animals and there were tears in the eyes of the reporter sharing the story. I wish I hadn’t heard the story. I wanted to take all that information out of my mind and pretend I hadn’t heard it. I closed it off in my memory and tried to forget it; you may feel that way at the moment too.

Weeks later as I was in prayer one morning, praying for babies that were being aborted; the Lord reminded me about that news story and how I felt. He spoke to my mind in my thoughts and said, “That is what happens to a baby being aborted in the womb. They are in pain and have no voice that can be heard from the womb.” I was shaken by this revelation and said, “What do you want me to do Lord?” I was led to type up this revelation and fax, email and send to every source I could find in the government and friends and family. This was before the days of facebook and smart phones.

I received a form letter from my senator’s office telling me that she understood my concern, respected my views and appreciated my contacting her office. Since this was a personal issue and everyone had their own opinions, there was nothing she could do about it. That is not word for word and I did not save the letter, but basically I was dismissed.

Who am I? I’m just one person. When I discoverd that I do have a voice, I have chosen to use it. What are you going to do?

“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” Psalms 94:16

“You, Father God, stand with me against the evildoers and the workers of iniquity. Those who harden their hearts and choose to kill and support the death of the unborn. Change their hearts, O’ GOD, or cut them off to stop their wickedness and destruction of those who cannot speak.” In Jesus name, Amen

For every aborted life, I declare and decree exponential salvation of souls who acknowledge and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Psalm 139:15-16 – “When my bones were being formed, carefully put together in my mother’s womb, when I was growing there in secret, you knew that I was there — you saw me before I was born. The days allotted to me had all been recorded in your book, before any of them ever began.” GNT

COME, FOLLOW ME

In my mind, I was in a field
Full of sheep.
Some were playing and
Some sound asleep.

I tried to get their attention
Because I wanted to play;
But, I was the odd sheep,
An outcast that day.

I said to the shepherd,
"Where will I go?"
The Shepherd said, "Come,
Follow me and you will know"

I said to the shepherd,
"Who's coming with me?"
The Shepherd said,
"Come, follow me."

I looked aroud and
no one else came.
So, I went on my way
With Jesus that day.

Sometimes we follow and
Sometimes we lead;
But the Shepherd says,
"Come, follow me."

When we walk off without him
And struggle alone;
In love, He finds us
And brings us back home.

ROCKS

In my mind, I see myself
In a house full of rocks;
But when I turn around,
I don’t see any rocks!

Confused, I think,
“What did I see?”
“Rocks are being
thrown at me!”

“Come on Lord,
I don’t see the rocks.
What is this all about?”
What is happening to me?

And then I heard,
“Many of the thoughts I speak,
And that are spoken to me,
Become as rocks thrown you see!”

They are often sent
To bring me down;
And, if I let them,
Cause me to frown.

My life could become lonely
And dreary each day;
But wait, there’s hope,
Jesus is the way.

With Him on my mind,
The rocks disappear.
No more sorrow;
No more fear.

STOP!

On April 2, 2020, I was awakened and asking the Lord how to pray for the virus and chaos our country and the world is facing. I heard and saw in my mind the word STOP. I actually yelled STOP out loud. I said, “How does that look Lord? This is what I heard Him say:

“The body of Christ needs to rise up in authority, with one voice and one word – STOP! It’s not a bunch of words, it’s one word – STOP!

A “stop sign” has one word on it and it carries the autority to tell a driver to STOP. If it does not, it can be struck by another vehicle and cause damage and possibly death. There is not a paragraph written on the “stop sign.” It is the “stop sign” that represents a legal definition that everyone is required to know before they get a license to drive.

Let that authority rise up in one accord. Use the heavenly authority given to you with the one word – STOP!“

Mark 4:39-41 NKJV – “On the same day, when evening had come, He said to then, “Let us cross over to the other side.” Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.

But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, ‘Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?’ Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, ‘Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?’ And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, ‘Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!’”

Mark 16:18 – NKJV – “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.’”

Psalms 91:1 – “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalms 91:9-10 – “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;”
